ESNOG, Spanish Network Operators Group will celebrate their 3rd technical meeting next 11 of May at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid where I will introduce and moderate a panel about “Legal Interception/Data Retention” with the participation of several remarkable speakers from lawful enforcement agencies, government representatives, ISP/Telco CSIRT, etc.

RedIRIS security conference whose central topic will be “Security Architectures” will feature several talks and a main panel from several experienced security professionals. I will participate on a panel trying to provide my experience as security architect at CESCA.

SANS Institute and ISSA UK are running a joint information security event at London’s conference with several well known speakers such as Raul Siles and Arrigo Triulzi. Radware and CESCA are jointly organizing in Barcelona a workshop titled “Improving Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) through Fuzzy Logic” that will provide a security review about IPS and specially about how DefensePro approaches it. Carmen Navarro, Ivan Puig and Francesc Rovirosa will be the main speakers. RedIRIS organizes its annual community conference in Logroño (Spain) where a panel about Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERTs) titled “CERTs and their evolution” will be delivered by manager of several security teams such as Manuel García-Cervigón from esCERT-UPC, Enrique Diaz from NATO CERT and Juan Carlos Güel from UNAM-CERT. I will participate on this panel as incident response manager of ERIAC (Anella Cientifica incident response team).
